No, unfortunately we cannot accept online bookings on the day you are coming - the cut-off point to buy in advance online is 12 midnight the night before. You can, however, still buy tokens on the day from the Token Booth at the fair, but you don't get the special free ride offers we give online.
If you try to redeem your tokens on a day other than the one you have booked for, we can only give you half of the free ride tickets with your tokens.
Tokens are taken on all rides and games. Food stalls take cash.

No, entry to the Fair is free of charge.
You will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique Booking Reference Number and a barcode that also contains this number. You may make a note of this number and take with you when you visit the Carters Steam Fair in place of a ticket, although we suggest printing out the email as this will contain a barcode which will grant you quicker access. Redeem your tokens with your printed-out ticket or reference number at the Token Booth on the Fair.
No, we regret we are unable to issue refunds.
On completion of your order, you will be emailed a DigiTicket containing a barcode and booking reference number. Present this ticket on arrival, or if you don’t have a printer, simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number to redeem your tokens.
You will need to redeem your tokens on the day you booked for in order to receive your free rides.
Come to Carters Steam Fair on the day you have booked for and redeem your DigiTicket at the Token Booth.
You do not have to print out the 8 digit booking reference – simply make a note of the Booking Reference Number and take it with you, coupled with some ID.
As long as you redeem your tokens on the day you have booked for, you can then bring them back on another day and use them on the fair.
Yes, Carters Steam Fair accepts tokens at every venue throughout the season for rides and games. Food stalls take cash. We accept cash, credit and debit cards at the Token Booth; you can also exchange coins and cash for tokens at machines on the fair; or you can buy in advance online for free ride deals.
All Carters Steam Fair rides, games, shows and attractions accept tokens unless stated otherwise. Food establishments take cash only.
No, simply buy the tokens you would like as a family on one DigiTicket. If you need more on the day you can purchase them at the fair from the Token Booth.

We do our utmost to ensure that all visitors to the Fair enjoy their day out to the full, and welcome disabled customers. Please be aware that as the rides are vintage, they are not as sympathetic to disabled access as they could be. However, please ask one of our friendly members of staff if you need assistance - we will go out of our way to ensure disabled visitors have access to our rides and attractions.
Yes you can get your tokens from the Token Booth (we accept credit and debit cards) at the Fair on the day, but you won’t benefit from our extra Free Ride Offers which are only available when you purchase your tokens in advance online.
Yes, we supply portable toilets on site.
