Signwriting Festival - 20, 21 & 22 September 2019

Come and join us for a Letterheads weekend of signwriting and hand-lettering pleasure in the bosom of the world’s largest vintage travelling funfair, Carters Steam Fair.

Where? Carters Steam Fair, Pedestal Field, West Wycombe, HP12 4AH
When? From 9am on the 20th, 21st & 22nd September 2019 (the fair will be open to the public from 1pm-11pm on Saturday and 1pm-8pm on Sunday).
What? A Letterheads weekend to celebrate the art of signwriting and hand lettering, with charity auction, spectacular fireworks display and activities for children, all within the world’s most beautiful vintage travelling funfair, Carters Steam Fair. All money raised will be going to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice.
How much? £30 per person for a painting pass; £30 per tent/vehicle for camping (camping tickets only available to those with a painting pass). Entry to the fair is free. Dogs are welcome on leads. All money raised will be going to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice.

For those who have come along to Joby Carter’s previous Letterheads events at the Carters Yard in Berkshire, this is an extra treat. This year, we have decided to bring the event forward a couple of months, and hold it on the fair itself while it is open to the public. This is an unprecedented opportunity for you to meet up with other Letterheads and swap techniques and tricks, surrounded by the incredible atmosphere of the vintage fairground.

All proceeds from the weekend will go to the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice, and that means all. The entire ticket price will go to them, and they will be taking the money directly at the charity auction on Sunday.

Please note passes will be restricted to around 100 people, so book soon to guarantee a place.

Camping at the Fair
Stay on site over the weekend by camping right next to the fair! Camping tickets are £30 per tent / camper for the Friday and Saturday night, and are only available when you buy a painting pass, so don't forget to add it to your basket.

Workshops
We will be running workshops and activities for children during the fair opening hours. If you're interested in running or helping to run an hour long workshop, or have any ideas of things we could do, please get in touch.

More information will be available soon on our website.
